Sinkhole Hazard Map
Sinkhole hazard is a type of karst hazard. It is related to the abrupt or continuous surface subsidence caused by subsurface dissolution of karstifiable rocks (limestone, gypsum, rock salt).
Pseudo-sinkholes are formed by piping or collapse of underground cavities. These are also hazard factors.
